ndrea lee is a rising LPGA Tour Star, highlighted by winning her first event in the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee has been successful at every level, most notably at Standford University earning 9 wins during her collegiate career and playing for 17 weeks as the #1 Women's Amateur across the World. Andrea Lee was born in Los Angeles on 15 August 1998. James began to teach her daughter golf at the age of 5. When she was 8, she started competing in tournaments. She won 50 titles when she was a junior player in just four years. She went to the finals of US Women's Open in Pinehurst No. Her father accompanied her to the tournament at the age of 15 as caddie. At the age of 15, her father was a caddie. LPGA Tour invited her as a sponsor to her 2015 ANA Inspiration, where she reached the cut only by just one stroke. Lee completed her studies at Stanford University in 2019 and turned professional. Her record as an amateur included 17 weeks in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee was also awarded the Mark H. McCormack Award in 2019, following her completion of the year at the top of the amateur rankings. Lee recorded four holes consecutively and an Albatross as an amateur. The first time she played on the LPGA Tour saw her finish within the top two spots of 10 players. She placed T7 at 2020's AIG Women's Open held at Kingsbarns Golf Links.
